With installing of iOS 11.3, performance management feature became disabled, once the device experienced unexpected shutdown it will be applied automatically.
Additionally, users can see if the performance management feature that dynamically manages maximum performance to prevent unexpected shutdowns is on and can choose to turn it off. This feature is enabled only after an unexpected shutdown first occurs on a device with a battery that has diminished the ability to deliver maximum instantaneous power. This feature applies to iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus.
There is an option enables users to disable the performance management feature Apple says that there is no ability to turn it back on but it will be turned on dynamically if the unexpected shutdown occurs again.

Apple now is running a program extends to December allows iPhone 6 and later owners to replace their battery at a discounted price which is $29 instead of $79 as a form of apology on ambiguity and miscommunication that accompanied the release of power management feature in iOS 10.1.2.
