Apple introduced RED EDITION of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus last Monday, as promised, they are now available to order, from Apple.com or through Apple Store app beginning from Tuesday, the first deliveries will arrive at customers Friday, April 13, the same day when will be available at Apple Stores and select authorised resellers.

As its siblings models in space gray, silver, and gold the PRODUCT (RED) editions will be available with 64GB and 128 GB storage, and prices at $699-$849 for the iPhone 8 and $799-$949 for the iPhone 8 Plus, compared to the same RED editions of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus the front bezels keeps the same black color which was requested by customers instead of white color that was last year in RED iPhone 7 and 7 Plus,

On the same path when it launches new iPhones, the delivery will be on stages worldwide, the Friday deliveries will include the U.S, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, while the second wave of availability will be later in April include Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries like Chile, Colombia, India, and Turkey will be in May.

Apple only provides iPhone X with RED leather folio is available for $99 in the US and several other countries, there were rumors had claimed that RED EDITION will extend to the iPhone X but it appears the color is limited to the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus while other rumors predicted Blush Gold finish, Apple released iPhone 7 and 7 Plus RED EDITION in March of 2017.



With RED EDITION products Apple contributes to the Global Fund with unspecified portion raising over $160 million to date, the initiative backs to 2006 where frontman Bono and activist Bobby Shriver founded (RED) to raise funds for the Global Fund helping people affected by HIV or AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria in eight African countries, including Ghana, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Kenya, and Zambia.

Apple shared a 30-second ad video on its Youtube channel promoting RED iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the video provide a close-up look at the glossy red finish and front black bezels, the video’s accompanied song is by Sofi Tukker "That's It (I'm Crazy)".



Apple has scheduled its 2018 second earning call conference on May 1, such as these mid-cycle products will obviously contribute to bolding iPhone revenue numbers.

Apple last year discontinued iPhone 7 and 7 Plus alongside the launch of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X in September 2017.
